If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi, My username is based on my real name.... First name + last initial. I did that purposely so I wouldn't be too hard to find by old friends. (It's also easier for me to remember lol) Also, my former username was zjamesb, and I put the z there so I can sort my name alphabetically back when I used to post in newsgroups. Either way I've kept the JamesB/zjamesb for about 9 years now. I used to use zjamesb here too, but I asked to change it because I was mistaken for someone else. Take care. James.

When we got our current parrot, my husband and i tried to be really creative, but the only name we could agree on was Mookie.
Hi Sue,
My cat's name is Mookie (rhymes with Cookie). Is that how you pronounce your parrot's name or do you say it like Moo-key?
Just curious. I get annoyed when I go to the vet or the cattery as they always call her Moo-key instead of Mookie. Argggghhhh!

VikingFarrier: My dad is a Swede, I shoe horses for a living. :-)
It just kinda came to me off the top of my head when I was asked for a username.
The irony is that I'm 5'8, a buck thirty-five so you would expect a big, strapping, redheaded Swede to step out of the truck but, instead, you get little 'ole me.

hi chelsea, its Moo-Key. i think we came up with that when i was really into college basketball and there was a player that i really liked with that name. and we wanted to choose something he might be able to say. but he doesn't talk hardly at all. an african grey that doesn't talk, go figure. but he does a mean microwave. and he laughs, just like us, almost on cue, its really comical sue

Alan, that is very cool! I had never heard the term 'silly Billy' before I directed "The Kingfisher" this winter. One of the characters tells another to "stop being such a silly Billy". Why am I not surprised you would have word play as part of your user name. Warm hugs,
Kat

Sue, I've never heard of an African Grey that doesn't talk. That is to whacky. Read an article in Discover about African Greys a few years ago that focussed on the fact that the researchers were actually teaching the Greys to talk, not just mimic, but teaching the meanings of the words. The oldest one actually made sentences. He would help train the younger one. One day the younger one was fooling around and making mistakes and the older one looked at him and said something like, "Get it right, will you." And he used to tell the researchers not to do anything he wouldn't do, and to have a nice evening. It was truly fascinating. And now I hear about one that won't talk. Takes all kinds, I guess. Many hugs,
Kat
