Well people, the time has finally come, and after Donna went through almost 20 hours of labour, our miraculous little gift was born. Kendra Marion Johnston came into the world at 4:50 p.m. Friday May 23rd at a whopping 9 lbs even, and 21 and 3/4 inches long. She was overdue by a week. Donna is resting after her ordeal in hospital and likely will be coming home Sunday evening. I don't have to tell the mothers in here how Donna is feeling right now, right moms?? Daddy has done remarkably well with his little angel, getting to do diapers and the soothing while mom rests, although I have been on the go since 6 a.m. Thursday morning with about 3 hours of sleep, so tonight Donna's sister is taking my bedside watch to allow daddies very sore and stiff body a good nights sleep. But of course, first I must let all of you know about our little joy before I drift off, so without further ado, here are the pics... Kendra's very first pic, 44 minutes old...
