I just know how good it feels to work at something that gives you so much pleasure. I always make sure that at one point during the show I stop and take a moment to enjoy the show.
It doesn't matter how long it takes to put something like this together, or where it's being performed, if you love doing it is always rewarding. As for taking a moment to enjoy the show... I try, but I'm the director and as much as I'm supposed to let go of it on opening night, I never quite do! But there are always moments in every show that I do just love.
