I was on Remicade for over a year the first time I was on it. Took a year and a half break and I'm back on it again.
My last infusion - in the evening, I was getting this incredible leg thing. It is like my legs are burning. I can pinpoint in my hip line where it starts and then it radiates down my legs. The next morning, I had a huge migraine and the day after that, it felt that the infusion didn't work as I was in the same amount of pain.
I had my infusion today, dosage up'd by 100mg. The burning leg situation is starting again. It's not a normal pain, because if I'm moving they don't bug me. So I googled RLS, and it may or may not be..then I googled RLS as a remicade side effect and there seems to be some people talking about it. So I thought I'd ask everyone here! If you are on Remicade or have been on it and following your infusion gotten the odd legs - I'd be curious.
I think my biggest fear is that this is going to turn into my last infusion cycle. RLS-type thing, Migraine and then back to how I was within about 36-48 hours after my infusion.
Anyone else?
Thanks!
Misty
