This will sound really weird, but after yrs of rounds of anitbiotics to keep the sinus troubles under control, I started doing saline nasal washes and using a vibrator on my sinuses. A flat one is the best, plug in, so it has power. Do the wash first, a netti pot is the best way since it uses gravity and the saline sprays are really too forceful. Then hold the vibrator in your hand and massage all over the sinus areas above and below your eyes. It feels weird, but you will be able to feel all the stuff loosening up and letting go. Massage for about 5 minutes and then do another saline wash.
Use the massage during really bad periods twice a day and the saline wash all the time.
The Nasonex is great, as is Flonase, but both have steroids in them, so if you stop using them, you can have rebound swelling. Good luck.
