Are any of you taking (or have you tried) Morphine Sulfate ER for your AS pain? My doc switched me from Oxycodone because my body became used to it and it was doing no good. At first he had me on 4 10mg pills per day then he reduced that to 3 then 2 which wasn't working at all. Then he switched me to one 15mg pill of Morphine Sulfate ER which is not working either.

Has anyone had any relief from either higher mg or more doses per day? I don't know what to tell my doc because I think he is afraid to prescribe much because of new CDC guidelines.

Those in congress seem to forget about us who have real pain and who have taken our meds according to prescription. My urine tests have always been consistent.

Just curious to know what pain relief has been successful for others.

Best Wishes,
Jon

They had me on Morphine some years ago. I don' remember the dosage but it never did me much good so I was not on it for long. They have since offered me Morphine patches but when they said I would have to be on then 24/7 I said thanks but no thanks.

My son is sticking to the healing diet. He is determined not to use meds.
