If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

The weather this winter has been crazy..mostly unusually warm and unsnowy. Then last weekend below zero F, then 12-18 inches of snow on tuesday....then today 55 degrees F with sun and blue skies.
Took advantage of the pretty white snow on the ground and pretty blue sunny sky and warm temps.
walked 1.5 miles in 40 minutes.

Hi! Cataract surgery over Easter break.
right now because I can't see very well.
I just had cataract surgery on my right eye last week. I can see so much better. I did not run or do the elliptical because I am taking it easy for a week after the surgery as instructed. Good luck with yours.

Orch, Erica - must take it easy for 4 weeks... NO eliptical; NO lifting of weights; NO excessive bending down; NO heavy housework - vacumning and such stuff... No, No, No, Eyesight is precious. Give eyes time to heal.
Yes, it is brilliant to be able to 'see' again after cataract surgery, amazing. And the colours, so clear and bright. Look after dem eyes -

While in Santa Clarita I was able to walk 3 times every day. It did include a bit of hill climbing too.
I am taking morphine pills, hydrocodone and prednisone. So I am not sure where it will all end.
Of course I ate sugar for energy...so no weight loss
Go team go!
I keep the New Covenant, when I fail....I am pulled back into place by HIM.

I'm sorry to hear that you are needing all the pain meds, Lon. I had more than a year when I was unable to function without serious pain meds: fentanyl patches as well as oxycodone. So relieved that my RA drugs eventually worked well enough that I was able to gradually stop the pain meds.
I hope your docs find a solution for you soon. Good thoughts winging your way.

Last weekend, we had another really warm day and so took another nice walk.
Then it went back down into the teens and 20s.
But this coming week its supposed to break 60 so spring is coming!

I have had real trouble walking. But I do as much as I can. I also climb the stairs occasionally just to be moving
Go team go! Do we gain when we exercise in so much pain?
Love Lon
