I totally get that yoga thing about being achy but not overdoing it. It turns out that I can do pretty much any gentle class at the gym as long as I am careful. Over doing it is party of my nature though, so it's been a hard zillion lessons for me to learn.

Today, for instance, I've been tied all day because I swam AND walked to pick up my grandson at daycare yesterday.

I really do like the warmer water at the gym instead of competition temperature at the university.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I took 50,000 steps in 8 days just doing my regular housework and yardwork, and one of those days I walked to get my grandson at daycare which is 3 miles round trip.

It's such good encouragement to see those steps add up. I'm going to wear the pedometer every day!

I have been swimming twice and yoga once.
Yoga was hard again some of the exercises involved the knees with squats from standing and such like. Ouch!
I think I need to find some YouTube videos so I can practice inbetween times! I can remember some of the routines but don't want to just launch into it as they will have all been done in a specific order to warm the muscles up before progressing through the routines

I think the good weather has come to an end and we have descended to murky darkness and drizzle. The autumn colours have been fabulous we haven't had a strong wind to blow them away, however this morning on my way out the lane was covered in leaves. There must have been a wind in the night.

Walked a little over a mile today.

Last week my wife, and I where in Mexico. We were staying south of Cancun at the Grand Mayan resort. We went and toured the Mayan ruins at Ek Balam, Chichen itza, and Tulum. We did a lot of walking, and swimming. We swam in three different cenote's. We also did a zipline thru the jungle.

In Ek Balam you can still climb on the ruins so we climbed up to the top of the pyramid. Because of the balance issues I have from the MS my friend was right behind me as we went up the many steps. It was a great trip.

Hi Team!

Today I sewed blankets at my friend's church. Her church gave us a HUGE dumdum of fabric and thread!

I swam 1/2 an hour after the event. Throughout the day I logged 8,351 steps.

Now I'm curious to see how many steps everyone else takes throughout an average day.

Steve- wow! what a nice trip! Great!

I drove a resident 130 miles in the dark to his V.A appointment. Then I went down town and walked the dark streets for 35 minutes. It was a bit cool but oh so nice to be out and about.

Yesterday I logged a whopping 1,041 steps. Very tired from Thursday.

Today I logged 4,635 steps, swam 1/2 mile with my sweetie, and painted 3 more garden boxes.

It's really time for me to strike some sort of balance.
