6.2 miles (10K) of running this morning. I am trying to increase my distance Lon so I can run up there. What altitude are you at.
Good job walking Sue.
I was watching Dancing with the stars last night. My neighbors daughter is one of the professional dancers on the show. I keep thinking I would like to take some dance lessons.
Steve-4,200 above Seal Level I worked loading branches, shoveling mulch -1,200 lb. and digging in the garden. Climbing ladders to saw broken branches..
Youth group tonight and early morning drive to Casper-- busy times again.
go team go- Sue- those stores are brutal, unless I can get on outer walls and walk at a fast pace, fast for me... all trees and flowers are blooming! it is just beautiful!
I keep the New Covenant, when I fail....I am pulled back into place by HIM.
It is so comforting for me to know that you're all out there somewhere and we are all in this together.
So sorry I've been out of touch lately. Life has been busy as is always the case after there is a death in the family. But it's busy in a good way, because knowing that she's no longer suffering is just such a blessing! That may sound trite, but it is also very true.
Anyway, in response to all of your work and dedication to exercising and posting, I'm posting a video of the group we watched tonight in our library parking lot. I really do read all of your posts and I think about you all every single day!
It looked like so much fun! Next time I'm taking a folding lawn chair so I can get comfy and stay longer!

I do daily deep-water conditioning at the local pool. I use buoyant ankle cuffs, a belt and foam dumbbells for a hour-long resistance workout without putting undue strain on my bones.
I cycle a short distance (2K) to the pool pretty much year round (remember, this is Canada). In better weather I'm on my bike a lot, especially on weekends.
Walking long distances and running are too hard on my spine I find.
Been exercising like a crazy person for the last 4 months and gonna train real hard all day sunday, mon and tuesday. Got killed in my tennis match a while back lol, damn acl I tell you! Gonna play for our team this Tuesday(been out cause of torn forearm muscle, yay inflammation)(gonna do humira and mtx on monday after-noon I think! Or maybe tuesday morning! not sure! want it to be kicked in but still working!) and having my surgery on the 16th(or maybe sooner!). Hope I win!
Glad everyone is doing well on their exerciserex. It's one of the only things I can count on in life!!!

That's awesome!
I'm in the pool and on my bike a lot also. How did you come up with your deep water routine? Does it do the work of weight lifting? I can't hike or ruin anymore either and would love hearing more about your deep water exercise!

I hope you win, too!
Is this your first humira/mtx? If so I hope it goes well for you!

I swam laps for 45 minutes today. The heat - 90F today - and UV index of 9+ is really making me stay inside.

Mostly ad-lib.
I try to make it fun. One I call "Gangnam Style." Another is "Slow Motion Steve Austin running."
I do some jumping jacks, side-to-side leg stretching, and "washing machine" torso bending.
I find it better than just swimming. I move the dumbbells around to work the ribcage and shoulders and the ankle cuffs to work the hips and legs. The floatation belt is there to keep me in an upright position with my back straight.
My routine just sort of evolved over the last year and a half. I started with limitations to my mobility, but as I went along (coinciding with my starting Remicade) I find I can do more and more.
