If I knew what to say, I would probably say it, but just "MAN!" And "Son of MAN the sequel." Some of these bp drugs are really good, and I hope You find one that works better.
I've had the fusion--low down Harrington rods as well as osteotomy, so just hang in there because I feel pretty good now except for the broken leg (famous last words...).
MONITOR that bp and take the drugs--don't wait until there is more damage--especially there; all those booze-free years will be wasted!

DX: Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriasis
Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away.

Lonnie, this is frightening and perhaps a bit overwhelming on top of everything else, but that old carcass of yours is beloved to a great many people (here and probably everywhere you go) and is most definitely worth saving.
I hope and pray that now they know this, there's something they can do about it. When you have trouble believing, let us and Lin believe for you to bolster you and lift your spirits.
