Yesterday I participated in swimming pool baby flinging for 15 minutes, and noodled for another 30 minutes.

Today I swam 1,000 yds and TWEAKED MY NECK GIVING MYSELF A STUPID MIGRAINE.

But, thanks to coke with sugar in it and 1/2 of a pain pill, it's now down to a dull ache in my right eye.

25 minutes everyday..
Took my 4 1/2 month grand D. out yesterday, while baby sitting. She loves it so much. Her bonnet got twisted, when I looked one eye was covered, but she was smiling and cooing!
But I did not want her arms sunburned on my watch...

Still conflicted with stinking lower back.. leg and, helk, I hurt all over like most of you, eh.

Linda said I look like a dark Christmas tree, three colors of burn, my left leg is vivid blue, and all other shades, even orange. She thinks the bruises on my buttocks are from the injections....

I have to laugh at myself.

Found a great video on Netflix instant play called:

Healing Yoga for aches and pains
(oops, here's the link) http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Healing_Yoga_For_Aches_and_Pains/60024777?trkid=2361637

So I did........
YOGA 37 minutes!!

I have only done yoga a couple of times, never since having AS. I could do most of this. It's kind of "corny" to me, but some of what they say is spot on for this condition, like "be kind to yourself, etc." I modified some, knees are still a bit swollen, but I had such a good "recovery" kind of day. Still experimenting with the niacin and being a good girl on the NSD. It's apparently a good combo for me.

I also:

Weeded flower beds for 30 minutes!!
and did dishes, and packed the camper and picked up after my kids!! Ahhhhhhhh, feeling better. What's amazing to me is how closely tied my mental state is to my physical state. Almost faster than my body can tell my brain it is in less pain, my brain says, "boo yah, life is worth living again, let's go get something DONE!"

glad i learned yoga right at the beginning of all of this. had to stop the class cause i kept pulling tendons and stuff, but learned pretty well how to do things correctly and more importantly what i could and could not do. then when i had all that PT over the years, many of the exercises i was given were very similar to many of the yoga poses. sometimes the yoga pose was better and sometimes the PT exercises were better, so i could mix and match. also easy to learn the PT exercises very quickly cause i essentially already knew them. and now the chiro has given me at home exercises, and those too are much like the yoga and PT exercises smile

today: walked 1 mile, 20 minutes

OK,I did 40 kms on the bike and 1000 metres in the pool. I´m feeling tired this evening but apart from that all is good.
Now if I could add on 10kms running, a triathlon would be possible. I´ll just have to keep plugging away.
I now realise why they do the swim first in the triathlon: I started cramping up in the pool after the cycle and I worked out that when people start cramping up it is better that they are on land.
Is my theory correct or am I babbling?

Worked harder today because I ate too much at supper last night.

Did 20 minutes on the elliptical and another 20 minutes on the recumbent bike.

I am walking a brisk pace for 30 minutes now. Every morning. My pelvis hurts like a son of a gun when I start... but most of the right leg pain is gone.
