If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

[Jaybird] Haha, it can be somewhat overwhelming too though... now that I'm sickly as hell. ALL that information that comes my way! I will have to sit down and write a list soon, of what she is suggesting I'm "supposed" to do. /Kristine

Klebslayer- would LOVE you to post a list from your naturopath sis. I get so overwelmed trying different supplements and keeping lists of different things I've read will help. If i could afford to pay someone to write me up a plan it might be less daunting. Currently trying to treat supposed adrenal fatigue diagnosed by my ob, but think I felt better prior to newest supps. its reassuring she recommends antibiotics tho. marycay

Hi Mary,
I know what you mean by saying "it all overwhelming" to try and sort out what supplements to take, how much of what, etc.
I'll send you a pm with some info.

Hello Saniya,
Probiotics are a tricky area. I think it is important for long term improvement of AS, but I think short term can make things worse.
Here is my 2 cents from all the years of my experience: - wrong probiotics will definitely make things worse if buy in store. Anything with FOS it in should be avoided. In States I always bought Natrens products. - Yogurt (organic again) is good.. in States I bought Stoneyfield Farms, but there are other brands. Wrong yogurt will make it worse again.
Sometimes if my gut seemed unbalanced... probiotics of any sort seemed to make my AS worse. Maybe bacteria were competing. I would typically go off for a while and then come back on after several weeks after things settled down.
Long term I think probiotics have really helped in my personal case.
Tim
AS may win some battles, but I will win the war.

What I can share is that I came across a web site for Dr. Mark Hyman where he explains the importance of a healthy gut. He recommends high quality probiotics ...so I starting taking "Ultimate Flora" from the refrigerated section of Whole Foods....one per day....about $38 per month. After 6 weeks, I notice a remarkable improvement in my AS pain so that I have been able to reduce my daily naproxen from 4 per day to one or none. I am hoping that this is not just a remission phase and that the high quality probiotics are actually the cause of my significant improvement. I would like to recommend that others give high quality probiotics a try. Dr Hyman explains that normal amounts of yogurt will not have the same effects...nor will cheap probiotics with limited strains. My best to all fellow AS sufferers.

thanks i too hope its the probiotics and not a remission for you as well. and i can attest that at least for me, the good stoneyfields yogurt every day definitely wasn't cutting it, as when cultured, i was deplete of lactobacillus. i just got LactoFlamX from Metagenics (Lactobacillus plantanum). hope this is "a good one".
