Hey Everybody!
Many thanks for your good wishes - I *did* have a good birthday, even though I had to do the housework first, then go to the paid job...

I engineered it so that it was like starting my birthday over the weekend - my S-i-L invited us for a pre-BD dinner on Saturday - so I didn't have to cook - but I did make a rosewater pavlova (meringue) which I coloured pink, just for fun - and topped it with fresh cream, raspberries and boysenberries - yum!
Then it was Father's Day here in Oz on Sunday, so I made sure that we went out for a late lunch, and that everybody ate *way too much* so that I didn't have to cook any dinner!
My DH did me some grilled Atlantic salmon and stir-fried veges (NSD), then made me a starch and dairy-free chocolate cake - it was so moist and delicious.
