If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Ha ha, not the ideal race vehicle although we have had some guys come out and play in their trucks - not on mud tires though!

That looks like a blast! I'd LOVE to try something like that one day. I must confess to burning around in huge dump of snow in an empty parking lot at 3 am a few nights ago. So much fun in a mini cooper s! lol
I'm with sue though - your vid needs a disclaimer saying anti-nauseants may be advised when viewing (for those of us with vertigo issues). hahhaha

Hey Megan,
That's awesome that you have a Mini S - that's what I autocrossed for a year before I got the RX8. The mini is a great autocross car too! You should give it a try - I'm sure there are clubs in your area, although they probably only run when it's not snowing lol! By the way, I looked at your pictures and you do nice work! If you ever are in Louisiana look me up and you can come along to a shoot or a wedding! I thought you'd like an opinion from a guy who make a living at it (www.chrisgenovese.com).
Here is another video from the last weekend!

OHMYGOD your work is nothing short of FANTASTIC!!!! I'd love to be able to shadow you for a day - I've only been a trial-an-error learner so far (seriously don't know anyone into photography here), but you only live half a hemisphere away. haha. Having some direction would be great, and who knows, just maybe I'll take you up on that one day if I ever find myself in your part of the world. What kind of camera/lenses/filters/software are you using? Any and all advice appreciated from a pro! I was surprised with a Canon 5D MII for xmas, so I'm trying to get a grasp on that. lol It's a slow process. And finding time is tough right now. My bf volunteered me to take pics at his brother's wedding last summer; there was a mess up with the camera/lens rental, so I had about 15 mins to practice beforehand. Not good. Not good at all. That vid you posted is great! I was giggling watching it - imagining what it would be like to be in the car. lol My bf would love it if I got into something like that - he has a Vanquish S, but I haven't had the guts to so much as drive it around the block (bawk bawk!). The mini on the other hand... haha... my cup of tea (hooked after "The Italian Job"). I used to be a serious outdoorsy type person, but since AS hit hard, I'm gradually trying to find other things that aren't so hard on the old bod, hence photography. Thinking flying lessons could be next on the list for bf and I, once we free up some time after my masters is wrapped up and he has some work projects out of the way. Once again, amazing work. Will check your site often!

Thanks for the kind words! I love being a photographer and I definitely feel like I'm meant to be doing it (although I can feel the AS monster doing a bit of protesting to this after an 8 hour wedding). I'd love to have you come and learn - I know we're half a hemisphere away, but I do shoot in New Orleans all the time and if you and the boyfriend ever consider taking a vacation here you could time it with one of my New Orleans weddings (if you time it just right I race in New Orleans all the time as well - that's where the last video is). Wow, a Vanquish S - that's a seriously fast car. I didn't know your boyfriend was James Bond! I'd love to autocross that Aston Martin . Now another possibility is that we come to you - we are available for destination weddings all over the world, although currently the furthest we've been outside of the US is Bermuda. If you know anyone getting married you can point them to our website - I've never been to Canada and me and the wife could turn that into a nice vacation as well! 5D MkII is a serious camera! We shoot with 40D's and 50D's because at every wedding we bring five or six different cameras all with different lenses (it's not practical to be changing lenses in the middle of a wedding). But in talking equipment, lenses and lighting are a much more important part of the equation than the camera body itself. My suggestion would be to start looking at some L lenses, or on the more affordable side the 50 1.4 is a great portrait lens. Off camera lighting is always better than the alternative - my lighting setup is pretty simple, but if you ever get an opportunity to shoot with me you'll see that complex and expensive setups are not always necessary if you have a really good understanding of lighting. I don't use any filters at all (well for landscapes I sometimes do), and i spend very little time in photoshop on the images - most of what I do is in lightroom and takes a matter of seconds. I shot over 150,000 pictures last year so it's not practical for me to spend too much time in photoshop. Feel free to PM or email me with any questions, or even send me individual pictures for critique if you like. I'll trade you information on photography for your knowledge of AS and NSD - I need all the help I can get!

Here are some pics from my first event I entered recently, a hillclimb in Wellington, New Zealand. Finally joined a club this year and have done 2 dual car sprints since then, and another round in two weeks time. Had an absolute blast and can't wait to do another hillclimb. I will have to set up a camera in my car now!! Matt
