If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Amy
Sorry about the Remicade being stoped . But thanks for sharing the info about the reaction. I read all the info and the possible side effects but until someone actual has some of them it just doesn't seem real.. Anyway in what I was reading it stated that if you were allergic to rodent protein you can not have the treatment.. I mean who exactly knows if they are allergic to rodent protein
Take care Valerie

Funny, because in my life I have never had a reaction to ANYTHING....aw well. What can you do. I will try the Humira and see what happens. I will keep you posted. Thanks for the good wishes.
Humira called me today to set everything up and they seemed helpful so that is good. We will see what happens over the course of the summer. I had a bad flare up last year at this time so I am worried about skipping the Remicade and then getting all sore and gimpy....yikes, I am trying to stay positive. That was a flare up like I have never had before....it still upsets me.
Amy:)

Will you be coming into the city for Humira? I think TWH has a Humira clinic or something, don't they?
Warm hugs,
Kat

Hi Amy, I'm so sorry you had a reaction and have to change med's. The same thing happened to me in November. My reaction was so bad, I got lots of stuff pushed thru the IV before everything went back to normal. I also had been having slight reactions to the infusion before this (I was getting really cold while hooked up). I miss the Remicade, best thing I ever had to control my AS & RA.
I went to Humira briefly. I started getting sick (colds, sinus infections) almost immediately. First time in 3 years that I had been sick and I couldn't shake it while on the Humira. I'm back to Enbrel and MTX (full-circle for me) as I refused Orencia and Rituxan(sp?. So far, no complaints!
I hope the Humira does wonderful things for you, so you can enjoy your travels abroad.
Take care,
S.
