Hey Lisa,

Been away from the computer for a few days, and lo and behold, I come back and see that I missed your birthday AND this great news! Dang! All I can do now is offer you some belated birthday wishes--I hope you had a great day--and say that this news about Bill's job just sounds too fantastic for words! Like you say, it just seems to be a win-win-win kind of opportunity! I know your kids will be thrilled to have their Dad around all the time now, and I'm sure you will too! And hey, not only does it save money now, but with gas going nowhere but up, it will pay off even more in the future, since he'll be staying closer to home.

I am very, very happy for you, and I hope the new job works out even better than Bill is imagining it will.

Brad

Lisa,

Wishing you guys the best of luck with all the new changes in a families life during the transition between jobs. I feel the vacation is will be nice and would be better to tak eit now oppsed to giving his notice first. More money coming in is always good for the family plus the insurance sounds like a good deal.

Did he sign a contract after making the decision to accept it. I hope everything falls into place soon after he changes. I am sure you will enjoy the help of the evenings where he had been traveling before. He can catch up on his honey do list, hehe.

Hey Girl,

Thanks for the support!

I am getting excited, he only has 3 days of being on the road left and then he will be off 2 weeks before he starts the new job.

It's funny, he said last weekend how long do you think it will take before you are tired of me and want me to go back out on the road..lol

The sad thing is in the almost 17 years of our marriage I would say about almost half of that he has traveled.

I just know that with having a 10 and 14 year old still at home they really need him to be here and I need him also.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hey Guy,

Well of course you know everything and have for a long time.

You and Karen have been such good friends and a constant support to me, many times when I really needed it.

I promise you that as soon as things work out we will come see you and you and Karen and Snoop are gonna be so sorry...lol

I sure have been enjoying all the videos and picts of that beautiful baby girl she is growing so quickly. I need to get some new ones of mine on here.

Im so excited Bill only has like 1 actual day left.

Don't worry we will still have our late night chat sessions, Bill will have to get up like at 6 every morning and Im sure just because he is home my insomnia will not go away. Lots of times since I am lucky enough to have a laptop I will be here in bed beside him just typing away and he will be like who you typing to, I will say Possi, or Russell and he will go well tell them I said hi...lol

I will answer your pm as soon as I can or do you owe me one..lol

Hugs,

Lisa

Hi Sera,

Thanks so much for the response and the support!

It means alot to me when I hear from some of our newbies because I want them to just jump right in and I want to get to know you all better.

We are sure hoping this is the right move. The boss seems to really like Bill (I know we would hope that..lol) just trying to take it as a good sign.

Right now we just can not come up with 1 negative about the job or how it will all affect us but that doesnt mean that something couldnt in the future.

I know my Dad is excited, he has always HATED that me and the kids have to be alone, so I know it will be a relief for him.

I hope you are doing well and feeling ok.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hi Dean,

Your response and your support means alot to me, you know how I feel about you, you have been a good friend and your a good joke teller...lol

I think once he gets on the job and we see that all will be ok, my nerves will calm down...this with all the other problems that have been going on have been putting me in a major flare, I can hardly walk right now.

I will keep you updated as things unfold.

Hugs,

Lisa

Angie,

Thanks so much your support means alot to me!

I know, we are so excited and just kind of keep waiting for the bomb to drop...would be nice if for once it wouldn't...lol

Like I told Dean, I know I am so lucky but I dont deal with stress well I internalize (sp?) and then it seems to come out in my body somehow so I need to learn how to deal with that better.

Hope you are doing well and feeling ok.

Hugs,

Lisa

I hope not, it sounds like you really enjoy your job, and today that means alot. For one if you can even find a job that pays half way what you need and then to be able to enjoy it doesnt usually happen for alot of people.

Well, the vacation thing is kind of up in the air at the moment. We had planned to take the kids and go to Branson for about a week BUT we found out a couple of days ago that our main car needs about $1000.00 worth of brake work done on it.

Our second car is ok, just not sure we want to take it that far away, SO we will probly still go somewhere just maybe not as far. We have total free hotels because of Bills current job so that is one expense that is covered. So right now not sure, we want to do something with the kids, just the 4 of us...we always have a blast.

Ok gotta try and get some sleep.

Love and hugs for you and the Benster.

Lisa

Yeah, my job is great, my boss is great and the pay is pretty darned good too. Especially considering I don't have a college degree! I look at my cousin who does have one and I make a lot more money than her. That just amazes me sometimes. But hey, I'm definitely not complaining!
I hate it when other things get in the way of what you want to do. Darn car! I've never been to Branson, but my grandmother has and from what I hear it's pretty cool.
Well I'm sure you guys will have fun no matter where you end up! That's awesome that you get free hotels!
Hopefully you were able to get some sleep!
Love ya!
Sarah
