If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi Sera, I'll let you know how it turns out. So far, I haven't heard anything negative about this radon mine thing. I've been researching it almost obsessively at the med library, and it seems that it really does help, at least a little. And most of the time, people with AS get a great response (from what I can find in published research articles and from individuals themselves). Worth the $175 to check it out, I think. We'll see.

Hiya Megan,
I really hope this will bring you some significant relief! You may already be aware of this but I thought it interesting. Apparently they held the 'International Ankylosing Spondylitis Meeting' Sept 6-9 2007 in Jachymov, Czechia according to the OSA newsletter (Ontario Spondy Assoc.) with delegates participating from 17 different countries. The delegates got to try out the radon bath treatments and everything. A quote from this newsletter, "The treatment in the form of overall randon baths has a clear anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect and brings patients long-term pain relief."
I've been so delighted to see how well the nsd has helped you and worried for you as well, reading about your recent setbacks.. hopefully the mine can help you get back on track!
Good luck!! I'll be interested to hear how it works out for you.
Hugs,
mig

Hi Megan,
All the luck to you next Friday that mine works out and you beat down the AS monster. Can you take pictures inside the mine?

Can I take pictures. Hahaha. Can I NOT take pictures, is more like the question. This shutterbug won't have a problem at all - I get shots of everything. If anyone uses messenger, I could set up my webcam, and we could chat from there too!
There are also a few pics on their site already:

It doesn't look anything like the radon spa caves in germany, but it will have to do (not to mention the price difference!).

Too funny... I failed to remember you love to take pictures. There was a show... next great superhero a few years back. You should enter if there is another such show as the "ShutterBug" Happy picture taking Tim

I have leveled off, but at a very high level of functioning. I mostly attribute this to NSD and Minocycline. If I stop either one my hands and feet suffer. I am able to do pretty much anything I could before the serious flare of last summer, just not quite as intensely. Good luck in there.
