I feel like my hips are going to fall off and my ribs feel like theres a huge boulder on me but I WANT to go. I just love fishing, it is so relaxing sitting out on a pier feeling the wind on my face and looking at all the stars and sky all night. And of coarse catching salmon is a bonus too!! Chad and I are going to drive to the upper east side of the state ,Manistee, and drive along the shore to Ludington to fish. Chad is going to buy me a new rod & reel for my pitiful shoulders so I can fish for as long as possible. I know I will be so sore when we are done but I dont care I so enjoy this time of the year... Everybody have a good weekend!!

Thanks everybody, well I caught 2 15lbs king salmon, Chad caught 1 ( he he  ) It was a wonderful night with lots of shooting stars, just beautiful!!! We stayed up all night and got home about 9:30 in the morning slept for about 2 hours then went out sailing for the day.. Boy I tell ya I am TIRED but it does so much for my spirit to just go all out for a day or so. It is very freeing ( Chad thinks its mostly because we only slept for 2 hours out of 36 but hey!) and I just feel like I am alive again. We sailed from Bay City to Tawas in about 2 1/2 hrs and pulled on the beach got lunch and sailed back...We try to do this once or twice a year and I feel like I am taking in every drop of fun in those 36 hours or so.. I always think to those days in the middle of winter when I dont do anything at all  .... Angie
