Wow, that's excellent news Ken! I'm so happy for you that you're a responder and feeling the miracle so soon... you've responded 2 days faster than I did!  Yes, I agree, everyone deserves to feel this good  , or at the very least, have the access to give it a try. Congrats! mig

Hi Ken, Make sure that you drink lots of fluids the day before your infusion!! Otherwise the nurse may have a hard time getting the infusion needle in your vein. If you drink lots of fluid, this will "plump" up your veins and make it easier for the needle to go in! I am actually going for my third infusion tomorrow afternoon, but so far there has not been a significant difference in my pain levels. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though. I really hope that this treatment works for you!!! All the best, Trina

Thanks, all, for your congrats and support...
It's been nearly a week now and I am still going strong. I have not taken an NSAID since Sunday evening and yesterday I did not even take a Tylenol. I cannot remember the last time I went a full day without taking something.
Move over, caffeine, I think I have a new favourite drug.

That's awesome Ken! It always amazes me to hear these kind of success posts after just one remi infusion. Glad you found a drug better than caffeine! haha

Ken that's wonderful news! I'm so glad to hear it's working so well for you. However, I need to set you and Megan straight on something. There is NO REPLACEMENT for caffeine. It is the gods' gift to us poor mortals.  Many hugs,

the first time i had remicade i got nausua i called them and told them then they askrd if i had eaten since leaving the office i said no and they told me to eat something and i felt better..i am less stiff in the morning as i got more infusions i realized that most of my pain is gone. dont worry about the side effects they have you do labs before your infusion process begins and they wont start it until they get the results back.....hope remicade works for you like it has for me which tomorrow i have another treatment........oak
