Hi all! I've been a part of this for a while and I had a fantastic time with Loz at the helm. People might not realize is that running a site like this is akin to a duck in the water. Calm on top and paddling like crazy below. Lots of phone calls in the middle of the night...early morning...to fix a problem or consider an option.
I had to go to England not once, but twice, to see him and figure out important things ( like how hot to order the masala ), but I digress Meeting Jo, Loz and Lord Simpo in England made a big impact on me where I realized how global we are.
Also, I have to mention that having Pete available (he's always been there) whenever we needed some input has always been so important and I hope people realize that.

I have to mention that I can't say enough about everyone else who are admins and moderators who unselfishly give their time and expertise to keep us running smoothly, they are great. We are so lucky as they all make this the biggest and best site in the world for support for our common enemy AS.

So...Loz, I thank you for your dedication and time you spent helping to get us where we are today.

Cheers,

Timo

Hey Loz,

You have done one great job and sad to see you step down. But I understand and am very glad that you will still be hanging around. I don't know what we would do if we could not see tha smile of yours.

Thanks again for all the years of hard work.

We all love you,
Donna

Thank you for everything you've done, Loz. I don't think I can begin to imagine how hard you've worked for KickAS for the past four years. I only know that we've been very lucky to have you and I'm very glad that you'll still be around.

Hi Loz
Thank you so much for all the time and effort you have put in to make KA into what it is today. All you admins and moderators deserve a very big thank you. It will be great to see you making more posts around here about yourself and how you are AS-wise. I don't think I've seen a post from you on how you deal with it. Good luck for the future. Take care.
Love
Sue

WOOHOO LOZ!!!!!!! Oh Loz the Great and Powerful, thank you from the bottom of my heart for fending off the Wicked Witch of the West's monkeys and bringing us safely home.

Hugs,

I probably wasn't thinking"huh" when I read this post a couple of days ago but rather selfishly thinking I sure hope this doesn't mean Loz is stepping down.

Having AS doesn't make a body a fan of change since most of the AS changes aren't for the better.

Personal angst aside, I'm sure the new team will be terrific too. Just thought the best compliment a fan of a job well done could offer is the true statement that I, and I suspect most here, hate to see you leave your post. I know no one hand owns KickAS but to me it will forever be a place that a guy named Loz an ocean away nourished during my early years here for I shall be here for many more. Like Pete and Timo and the Hobbit and so many more folks I am unaware of I think of you now when I login andthink thankfully.

Dear Loz,

I want to add my sincere thanks, for all the years you've dedicated your time and compassion with such generosity of spirit, to help run KA.

Although I'd never been a member of any type of forum before, when I first found KA, I instantly felt comfortable and didn't hesitate to jump right in. When the search engine hit on KickAS, the name caught my attention (and cracked me up ) and so I had to take a quick peek. It might have ended right there, but I was intrigued by the nature and friendliness of this huge group of kindred spirits.

How much of that was directly related to your work and input is a hard thing to guess, but I imagine it was no small factor. It is a charitable gift of service that will continue to bring comfort to so many of us, and you deserve BIG pats on the back, and many thanks! I do love this place!

I'm looking forward to seeing you and Jeanna playing and posting lots!
Thanks, and more thanks,
and hugs to you both,

It's kind of embarrassing to bump this up with a reply, but I can't let it go without saying a huge thanks to all of YOU in return.

To everyone who supported me, was kind enough to bear with the team when things couldn't be resolved instantly, who made suggestions in a contrsuctive way, who shared my vision of an expanded site that was still suitable for all, who understood the sacrifices that had to be made along the way and who showed me friendship.
