Everyday all day its getting up out of the chair just to get some butt relief, then you gotta relieve those feet and hips so I will sit down and get up or shift from one cheek to the other. You would think I was drinking a bit too much coffee as figity I am. Sitting is very bad, standing is very bad, laying down is very bad. Wish I could just float!!!
Take care

I take the streetcar to work in the mornings - half an hour to 40 minutes. About half way through the trip (not even some mornings) my butt is SO SORE!!! Honestly, if feels like my sit bones are going to pierce my cheeks! (Now there's a novel spot for body piercing) Hugs,
Kat

Hamslices, "Wish I could just float!" That's perfect! You're exactly right. Sitting's no good, standing is bad, lying down's not so great, but floating! Wow! Floating would be perfect! Let's work on that and try to invent this million dollar idea...floating...I love it..!

Hey Sam,
I thought about a massive motorized vat of water but that may be a tad cumbersome when it comes to going to work or shopping.

Cheers

Doug

How about trying to become an astronaut?! Can just float in weightlessness, no pulls due to gravity, no more pains, just about the perfect ASer job I can think of! Ram

Doug and Ram, I think we're on to something! The vat of water could pose a few problems I suppose, and driving with it could be a real bear, but this plan has real potential!! And being an AStronaut is a definite possibility for all of us. Now, I don't know how well we would do on the physical capability test, but once we're up there...THERE'S NO STOPPING THE AS ASTRONAUTS! We could even start an AS colony on the moon! Talk about a vacation from pain! SAM

Sam, Physical should not be an issue - I think good cardiovascular health is sufficient for us. The standard flexibility and upper body strength etc dont matter in space, everybody is about equally strong and flexible there! Why, I could resist Arnold there! This is in space. On the moon, the equations change again where we have 1/6 of our gravity. Yes, it will hurt less on the moon! Let me book a seat if we ever organise a KA space program! Of course, we dont stand a chance in a regular astronaut physical test, it takes very tough people on the planet to qualify. I heard Russian astronauts have to pass a shock test, where electricity is passed thru the body for around 2 minutes. Anyone gutsy here? Ram

Ram, Shock test! Heck, at this point it may feel good to our pain stricken bones!! I'll vote for the KA space program any day! Sam

I am with you on this. I feel like someone has kicked me in the bum constantly, I have resorted to sitting on a hard chair most of time, as comfy chairs may look great but try getting out of one!Janetx

Yes!
Seems like it is at the bottom of my tail bone.

I have alot of problems with my SI joints, so I know they are involved somehow.
