If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Just to add a note to Brent's post, if you send a letter outlining what's happened directly to the doctor, all you have to do is mark the envelope "PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL". Support staff are, generally, not supposed to open any letter so marked. I would strongly urge you to make your displeasure known directly to the doctor in question, as well as to your GP (copy your GP on the letter even). Hi Valerie! Sorry to hear about that. I know how hard that can be. I dont work but when I set an appt I usually have to try to scatter about for a sitter or pack the load and make do so when they re schedule..grr. luckily that has only happened with my rheumy once or twice and it was over a span of 4 yrs. they set me up rather quickly after that date and gave me ample time. But when you take the time off from work that's definitely a good enough reason to look for another doctor. That's terrible. Perhaps you can search a bit for a better doc. Lots of luck your way! Adios! Buggie

Val,
Words fail me! How is you tummy? Just hope you are ok and can cope with another delay.......
Revenge: I'd go book him up with ficticous pateints for a couple of days..........see how he feels when no one turns up. Then call in for all of them sorry had a chance of a day off! I'm in an evil mode tonight......
Do n;t know if I trust him to do any procedures on me if he can;t be bothered to turn up for double appointments........

Hi David Right now my tummy is allright but that is only if I take my nexium everyday and watch everything I eat. I am trying to be a good girl until Christmas dinner then I know that the stuffing and gravey is going to kill me but I am eating it anyway I have plenty of tums to turn to, Hey I love your Evil moods just wish I could do it but he take referals from doctors only so that is out. I am not letting him touch me. It seems that this is something that he is noted for so I am holding out with the tummy until I see my gp. I made an appoitment for feb 7 since i have to book that day off for another appoitment. I am asking for another doctor and will explain why. How are you feeling these days?? Take care Valerie

Hi Buggy I can imagine how hard it would be with children scrambling for sitters and such. I can understand if there is an emergency or the doctor got sick or something. But I figure that both times that it was cancelled they knew far enough in advance not to cancel the day of the appoitment then I could have cancelled the day of and used it when the appoitment was rescheduled. I am going to get a referral to another doctor. My sister said that the doctor she went to was really good and she didn't have to wait 6 months for the first appoitment so when I go to see the doctor that is who I am telling him to refer me to. And yes I am going to tell him and not ask . No more Ms nice girl. Take care Valerie

Hi Debbie I can make complaints but they will just say well you know he is really busy and emergencies do come up. I am just not going to see him. And if by chance they don't listen to me and reschedule anyway then I am just not going to the appoitment and that means no call to them either. Take care Valerie

Hi Brent My doctor is going to hear about the cancelled appoitments. I also found out that my GP will be receiving a letter because I refused to reschedule the appoitment. It kind of makes me look forward to the appoitment that I made so we can have a nice long chat. My regular doctor only cancelled an appoitment with me once and that was because he was really sick and was off for about 2 weeks . When he did get back he managed to see everyone that had an appoitment and the ones that he had to cancel within a 2 week period. then my ortho surgeon had to cancel one appoitment on me . He had an emergency surgery but they rescheduled that appoitment for later the same day. So I really don't know why if they have to reschedule why they make a person wait another month. I agree. I am getting a new doctor and I will never accept a referral to this doctor again. I think if more people said don't bother when they wanted to reschedule than maybe he would change his habit on cancelling, Take care Valerie

Hi Julie The thing is I seen this Doctor a few years ago and there was no problem. I liked him and trusted him so when my doctor said I had to see him again since my stomach was getting worse and not better. I wasn't worried and waiting for the first appoitment was allright but then when he cancelled twice with no real reason and I am hearing that he is doing this all the time now it does concern me. I don't know what happened to him but he is now unreilable so I am not fooling around . the er it is if something happens Take care Valerie
