If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi George, In reply to:
Wouldn't it be great eh, if we could get all these Americans, Aussies and Brits to start saying eh?
Funny you should mention it, because I've already been making a start, eh?
Just as a by the way, I once tipped a bell-hop in Eastern Canada, and I swear he actually said "Cheers, eh" as his thank you.
I was dumstruck, eh?

Hi Florida dude I have to agree with you here. I'm from the UK, and though I probably have no place saying this here I must say that I don't care who votes for whom on this site. I respect each and every one of you for your opinions and beliefs. While I also respect Kat for her questions, I'd hate for anyone to get offended by any talk about politics. Please let's just leave politics off this site. I'd really hate for anyone to fall out over it. Take care and love to you all. Sue

Kat, Condolences for me. It was a sad day. In my country a filmmaker was murdered in almost Iraqi style by a religious fanatic because he had made a film about the suppression of women by the islam. That America reelected the man the man who says he would invade our little country when one american should be trialed in the international court of justice that by coincidence is situated in my hometown, didn't make my day better at all. I really don't know what to say, or who to say it to

'Then you should say what you mean,' the March Hare went on. 'I do,' Alice hastily replied; 'at least - at least I mean what I say - that's the same thing , you know.' 'Not the same thing a bit!' said the Hatter.

Hey George, We were saying ' eh' here long before the McKenzie brothers,... and that's why their 'act' made us howl! Do you really not say it out your way George? "Have another beer, eh"... is not as much fictional, as it is just fact. And those lumber jackets they wore were actually considered a cool fashion statement for the guys where I grew up in Scarborough,... not surprisingly, right in the heart of Mike Myers neighbourhood! And do you really think of us as 'eastern' Canucks? I could've sworn we were more central, being that we live in the center of the universe and all! Cheers! mig

Hey, really, honestly, etc, I never heard anyone out here in the west say 'eh' until the McKenzie brothers routine. Even Alberta is eastern Canada to us but I will try and change and start calling Ontario central Canada. But only because I like you. George

Hey George,
You hear "eh" here more than you would think down in the Carolinas. I used to hear it all the time in California also, but that was more of a spanish bersion than french.

I wouldn't be surprised Sue. I'd rather blame it on the UK anyway. As part of my job, I used to spend a few weeks every year visiting a paper mill in Alabama and they all thought that I talked funny. My Dad was born in England (somewhere in Middlesex) and he came to Canada at the age of 5. I never heard him say 'eh' but that is understandable as he hadn't started school at that time. Now that you have me thinking about 'eh', it isn't such a bad word is it. What other language has such a short word that begs everyone you speak to, to confirm that they understand what you said, eh? I agree, blame the Brits. hugs, George
