Hello Loz,

So sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He sounds like a very special man who created lots of memories that you will cherish forever. My thoughts are with you at this time. Take care.

Hi Loz~

I can see by the look on your face, and on your fathers face, that you spent many wonderful times together as father and son. He is very proud of you, it shows in the picture.

I'm deeply sorry for your loss. You are right when you wrote how fortunate you were to have had the chance for appropriate closure, to help lessen some of the hurt you feel.
And he was also very fortunate to have had such a supportive and loving family!! Hospice is a wonderful thing, but the family there for comfort is even better.

And always remember this: You are so fortunate to have had your father in your life to see you through every mile stone. I lost my father when I was 9 years old, and it still can be difficult at times not having him here.

Take the best of care, and always know that he will be with you always!!

Loz,

My deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to you and your family. I know how bad it hurts to lose your dad. I lost mine just before Christmas 1979. There will always be a huge hole there, but it will get better with time. It would appear that you and your father were extremely close. No one can take that away, you'll always have those memories to fall back on.
You will be in my prayers my friend. He will be watching over you from a much better place and he'll always be with you even tho you can't see him.

Best wishes,

Glenn

My deepest sympathy to you and your family Loz. I think that you had a wonderful father as did I and because of that ,the memories will be good as are mine.
Like you said "he was loved". He will be remembered that way too.

Hi Loz

I am so very sorry for the loss of your father. Not really a loss because as others have said, he will live within you for ever. You will discover that this is so true. He will be there guiding you for allways.

My heart is with you for your loss. Even now however I read your post and admire the bond between your father and you.

Having yet too meet you but reading your posts for the past years, you are an eloquent and caring soul, I suspect it was your father along with your mother who instilled this in you. He touches you today and beyond but touches us through you.

Sounds tedious and boring but I believe that even the modicom of good I have in me is simply a tribute to the wonderful two folks who raised me.

Wish I had something better to offer. Wish you weren't having this day. Thak you for sharing the tales of your Dad and the great photo with us.

Hi Loz, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. The passing of ones family members leaves an empty void in our lives that cannot be filled. As we make our way through life we experience many good times and sadly quite a few bad times. Most certainly ones father passing must be the worst of times. Be happy that you knew and loved your father as he must have really proud to have you as a son. The happiness you both display in the picture says a lot of your relationship.
Take comfort that he got to raise a family and do the things with you that made him your Dad. Cherish the memories of your times with him and he'll always be with you.

Allan
