Linda..

You and I are on the same page.... I agree that overdoing it is the worst enemy I have. I tend to think that when I am feeling OK, that I can do it all.. then AS slips in and reminds me that it still has a firm grip on me... If I push too hard, it takes me a week to recover.. I love to entertain friends and family. It's so hard to say no to things you have always done in the past without much effort.. Now I have to stop and really think about delegating the things I know will cause me to hurt later. Putting limits on myself is a hard lesson I am still learning. Thankfully, my friends and family have begun to realize that I need help..

Resting and relaxing is a lost art for many of us.. We all live in a hurry up world with tight schedules and round the clock activities... Wouldn't it be nice just to sit back in a comfy rocking chair or porch swing, with a cup of coffee or iced tea and just visit with your best friend, grandchildren or next door neighbor?

My idea sounds so good... I think I'm gonna go home from work and try it out... hehehe....Best wishes to you all...

Denise

Hi Irene,
I agree with you on the stress and stomach connection. All my stress sits in my stomach. I've been under severe job stress lately so my stomach is raging and I'm having trouble eating. Stress doesn't seem to make my arthritis flare, though, that usually just sneaks up on me.
