Hi Liz, welcome to kickas. Your story is very familiar to most of us "older" AS'ers, especially women. AS was not diagnosed in women when we were younger so many years would go by with symptoms being dismissed. I'm glad our younger generation here doen't have to endure 20 to 30 years without a diagnosis. I have a suggestion for you reguarding your neck and head, I post a series of stretching exersices for AS'ers here every spring. If you do a serch you can pull these up. These are stretches that we should do everyday religiously. I pulled it up a couple weeks ago for a new member so it shouldn't be too far back in the pages. Please know Liz that you are in the right place here. We do identify with everything you are going through. When you think you are crazy, know that you are not.
