WOW.....

Ok I haven't been on too much lately. And usually don't respond to inflammatory posts/threads. And wasn't going to reply to this one. But then thinking on it... that would have been, in my opinion, disrespectful to Johnny. Because this was obviously not intended to be such a post. I have read all the responses to this thread and this is how I see it..... This was a light hearted post from one of our family members, sharing with his close friends about an experience he had. We are all adults here and most took it as posted. Then a misunderstanding came about... a fight broke out.... harsh words were said by a few..... kind words were said by others.... defenses came up on both sides....some were hurt.... some were angry.... one stood up and apologized for misundertanding the situation..... others appreciated that and told them so....
........ hmmmmm.... yep sounds like a family to me.

Johnny.... don't ever stop being yourself. Post your thoughts... feelings... ventings... and poems (hint hint ) Some might not agree with some things you say. Heck... most don't agree with anything I say But that is the wonderful thing about a family. So many differences in one group.... but all with a common bond. Ours happens to be this nasty disease, instead of a family tree.

I am sorry that you were hurt by the actions and misunderstandings that took place after you posted this thread. I truely am. Because I believe it was written as it sounds.... not as an advocacy for alcoholism... for we are all adults here and know the dangers of alcohol. But that is was just as I said before.. a post made by a family member sharing a bit of his life with us. And I thank you for sharing it. Please don't deny us in sharing yourself with us by not posting. That would be another family tragedy.

Much love,
one of your KickAS sistas,
Pam
